Your Purcellville Lions Club
Does Much More Than
Sponsor the Miss Loudoun Pageant!

Chartered in 1938 and in continuous operation since, we are part of one of the largest civic organizations in the
world with over one million members. Among our activities, we:

support many local (Purcellville area) causes

help many local residents with glasses or hearing aids

contribute to the Eye Bank and Leader Dog fund held by Lions International

help local elementary age children of parents who have experienced a tragedy of some sort with Christmas

contribute to many other local causes, such as the Women’s Breast Cancer Fund and the local Library

hold several types of fund raisers with the most notable being the Miss Loudoun Pageant and the Lions Club Broom Sale.

The Purcellville Lions Scholarship Fund established in 1992 awards four college scholarships per year to deserving Loudoun Valley High graduates.

I hope you can find time to consider us as a way to give back to your community. There are only three things you need to be considered for membership: (1) Have a desire to help your community, (2) be willing to be involved in the club functions, (3) enjoy great fellowship and make new friends.
